People
have told me that the words “Leanne” and “power tool” should never be used
together in the same sentence and I might be finding out that they were right! I
was recently given a table that was once my husband’s grandmothers and I would like to spruce it up with some new stain. I had finished
the table last week and today I thought I’d take a shot at the chairs! Oh boy.
It was quite….interesting. Before sanding anything I called my mother to tell
her about my new purchase of an electric handheld sander, I was pretty proud of
myself, and she began to warn me how I could potentially damage my chairs if I didn’t
use it correctly. With that in mind I went to work. Let’s just say I’m waiting
for my husband to get home and look over my progress or maybe I should say fix
my damage. Unfortunately, my record with “fixing things up” isn’t much of a
good one. Ha.
Stay tuned
for the finished result and also tomorrow I’m bringing a new recipe to the
blog! You won’t want to miss this. I’m drooling just thinking about it.
Blessings
Mrs. Lanier
